Contemporary romance with lovable characters, lots of fun, and a Happily Ever After ambiance!

My Review:

Good grief! This is the first time I’ve opened my laptop in months! I’ve been so busy with work and a new morning shift that I haven’t had time to write a post. But I am back at it now!

Yes another Marcia Lynn McClure book review. I can’t help it! She is my favorite author and I am loyal to her till the end! Lets get started shall we?

Keeley Di Carlo attends her big family reunion at Snow Creek when she meets Sutter, an employee who understands her right away. He goes out of his way to make her comfortable and keeps her from losing her mind around family and unwanted company.

Keeley was such a lovable character! Her personality was really fascinating to me. She was the type that needed to retreat from groups of people and have some alone time. She was the type that would absorb everyone energy in the room and then needed some alone time to recover. I felt like this is really rare for her type of characters. It was refreshing to have someone so independent and introverted.

Sutter was a beast of a man. Super caring and charismatic. He goes out of his was to make sure everyone was comfortable and taken care of. I wish there where more men like him. I had a serious crush on this man, more for his personality than his looks this round 🙂

I love that Marcia brought in the subject of the Myers-Briggs Personality Types. Which if you haven’t ever taken the test you should! There are 16 different types of personality and they base in on the differences in people based on how they focus their attention, how they take in information, make decisions, and how they orient themselves in the world.  Keeley was an INFP personality. Which is someone who is an introvert with deep intuition and the natural ability to feel deeply themselves and tune into the feelings of others by being a perceiver. She really comes to term with this by recognizing her strengths and weaknesses and distinguishing how best to deal with each. Sutter is an ISFJ which is basically the title of Defender. They have excellent analytical abilities, introverted, well-developed people skills, and receptive to change.

I myself am one of the rarest personality types. If I remember right only 1-2% of the population have this personality type. I am an INFJ aka the Advocate!  Decisive, act with imagination, making connections with others, introverted, and caring for other’s feelings. No other personality type is better suited to create a movement to right a wrong, no matter how big or small. This is sooo dang true about me!

Honestly, I loved everything about this book. The romance, the characters, the drama and the ending. This is a short and sweet Christmas read!
